Doesn't mean much. I would rather not have a player at the club if he doesn't want to be here anymore.
That's what some said after Luis kicked off in 2013 after the £40m + 1 malarkey. Went on to give us his best ever season.

Am i the only one who thinks a large part of our problems are down to JK's 1 & only 1 target per required position to upgrade never mind meeting VVD. This stance has left us lacking in squad depth and expending large time & effort on transfers which always looked highly unlikely.
Oh presumably we will need to consider seriously offers for Can considering his contract stand off just to add to our woes.![]()
Afternoon lads, good Friday everyone?![]()
Erm....
That was in April this year, you're way behind.Afternoon lads, good Friday everyone?![]()

Tell Coutinho not gonna happen until next summer, he's left it too late for us to find a suitable replacement. Barca can come back next summer after he's had a blistering WC having helped us retain CL football and hopefully bagged a trophy or two meaning we'll be in a better position to attract a replacement of suitable quality.
Plus we'll look even more clueless if we sell him having spent 2 months saying he's not for sale![]()
If Coutinho and Can leave, we start the season with Wiji, Henderson and Grujic as the only match fit midfielders.
I don't see how the club have many other options; If they sell him, we won't get a proper replacement - if at all - at a reasonable fee (relative term) and the owners will once more look like they haven't got a clue about running a club. If they don't sell him, we have one unhappy player who still has to play else he won't 'earn' his move and won't get his spot in the Brazil squad.yeahh....... that might happen who knows.![]()
Can won't leave. he's playing the long game. Klopp is a typical german manager who is used to that and has no issue playing him.
It will be the same with coutinho should he stay. there will be not victimisation.
YOu are right though... our midfield has imploded with injury.
Sounds good mate, I'm just leaving work debating whether to go out tonight or not.About to start getting pissed and watching golf...with a Madras in there somewhere....so yeah...not bad lol
Can is 100% gone. He is playing the grman game.
about time... jeez... took you long enough!

Don't wanna be hungover at the match but at work 7am Sunday so can't really drink tomorrow...
Some of us can't post at work!
Anyway, Coutinho hasn't posted a leaving thread, complete with sad music and stuff, so I'm calling bullshit on the whole thing.
The mistake made was releasing any statement.
They did it to protect klopp in presser imo.
I doubt coutinho would have put in request had it not been for the statement as in the end it's down to Barca to bid the actual price and not half the price.
You could string it along for another week at least.
Who has gone into his head -Neymar and his international team mates.?. Poor Countino, he has crossed the line and lost respects of faithful
Liverpool fans.
