they bid or didn't bid for one or two or even no players who may or may not have agreed a deal in advance.

Oh yeah rafinha is on offer to the first club to accept a bid of 50% the value of their player. He will only cost double whatever barca pay for a player.

That depends if they flew premium on these travels or not. These airlines given out airline per pound spent not by distance now. I presume the short notice meant it was cheaper to fly first class charter than ryanair

I don't think he's feeling very blue at the moment. I've always rated him as you know but he's at a point in his career where he will go one way or the other and it would be an unpredictable signing and we don't need that.
I can't see past Rafinha, he's available and is the right age. Barca would also jump at the chance of reducing the transfer fee and their wage bill all in one go.

£100M plus Rafinha would be a great deal.

We are more likely to get 100 for courts and then pay 80 for rafinha

I can see it now, the entire delegation from Barca squeezed onto an easyJet flight, running through the finer details of Ford's £120m deal while Wayne, returning from his Eurocamp holiday, clutching a straw donkey and a bottle of duty free vodka, separates them because they didn't book their seats in advance.....

Yep, sounds like we've been a bit cheeky at the death after agreeing a fee verbally ffs. This being leaked is obviously an attempt to push us into a long awaited conclusion to this saga. If that piece is right (and they seemed convinced which tells me it's come from Swansea) then the difference is £5m
