Again to further my point on Rafinha, fans would be excited by the signing. I would be gutted Coutinho had gone but instantly excited by the prospect of Rafinha.

He's a more natural midfielder...which is what we need. I still think that IF Couthino does go, should we not get CL proper, for example, we will have something lined up. Klopp is too much of a planner to not have this already teed up.

I think we have failed in our pursuit of Keita and will gamble on getting him next summer. Klopp will stick with what hes got.

He won't panic buy is all I can say so we won't end up with a Carroll but his lack of nouse on the VVD tapping up saga completely took me by surprise. Did we ever find out who leaked the approach btw?

Klopp is worrying me tbh.... the managers like contend guerrilla know they need players. Klopp seems to think he doesn't need the same number of players or that any player will do.

I say any player given he is backing quite a few nags at our yard.

Either FSG gave Barca the ok to talk to the player or they're tapping him up, he's contracted up to **** and can't negotiate without his club's permission.

COUTINHO LATEST

Philippe Coutinho reported for training at Liverpool's Melwood base as usual on Tuesday amid continued speculation over a move to Barcelona.

Sky Sports News understands his attitude has remained first-class, despite reports to the contrary and a desire to move to the Nou Camp if a deal can be agreed amicably between the clubs.

Catalonian newspaper Deportes claim Barcelona directors are in England this week for talks with Coutinho's representatives in the hope of striking a deal.

But sources have told Sky Sports News that there are Barcelona officials in Germany trying to secure the signing of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund, while Liverpool are also unaware of any Barca officials being in England."

If any of its true of course.:emoticon-0105-wink:

The Grauniad (sic) has this article about a new software tool to allow journos to know when politicians are telling porkies by checking facts in real time:
The software, which was demonstrated to the Guardian, scans statements as they are made by politicians and instantly provides a verdict on their veracity.
They'd better use it on themselves first.

I think our Phil needs to come out with a quote himself one way or the other to put this to bed.
