thats nice except for the evidence that they buy dogs like long, austin and claisse :)

    having a database means nothing.

accepting they will never pay enough cash to hold a player longer than 2/3 years means it'll all go tits up eventually.

If you can guarantee they will get a gem fin... thats nice :)

Well, if all these teams are consistently better than us at finding talent, how come they're not consistently higher than us in the league?

cos 90% of the "gems" are not actually "gems"

    look at the southampton team

Forester. ok keeper but very slow on the ball, not great aerially, not good o nthe deck, saving down low is an issue
    cedric.. meh.
    yoshida.. meh.
Van dijk. best cb in prem period.
Bertrand. just decent. not top 4 and cheslea really didn't care he went
Claise- pretty **** replacement for schneiderlin. very average
    davies? band average
romeu - decent but again not top 4.
Tadic. decent but not world beater on left. theres a reason nobody has bought him
Long- decent in air and quikc but misses the chances too often. been around the grounds
    austin - broken down scrapper
Ward prouse - deserves more games. he's the local lad who needs more time on the pitch to prove he's better than them.
redmond. decent pace but **** me he misses more chances than sterling!

    do i go on?

theres probably only one or two guys there that would go on to win things but they are all competent and there no real hangers on.

The reality is LFc probably pay more individually in wages but get less out of the players cos half what we end up with is sahkos and lucas's who hang round like bad smells.

in brighter new our loanees are doing well.

Ryan kent products an assist for once.. meaning he's now worth 500k
danny ward had his feet up as huddersfield tried to ge tout of the FA cup like his parent clu bto focus on ze league. it didn't work
Markovic played against the mancs helping end mourinhos unbeaten run :) pity he thennd started RW in the fa cup and hull got thrashed <laugh>
Flanno played his reserve part as burnely tried to ge tout of the fa cup too but again this failed meaning they will have to settle for midtable now. clean shhet for flanno.
    pedro was **** in holland
Lloyd jones continues to stink up league one with swindon. playing 90 as they lost... again

allan has been at brazils u20s but he's only made one sub appearance so there goes his work permit..

    http://www.thisisanfield.com/2017/0...ic-bright-hull-debut-liverpool-fc-loan-watch/

so in other words these guys are even worse than the ****es who lost to wolves and are the dregs of humanity :)

Hmmmm...Allan is one I was looking forward to seeing. But if he's struggling then the Visa situation doesn't bother me. Once he's good enough (if ever) to get a visa then he'd be good enough to at least try and break into the squad. Also wish we still had Allen. <ok>

I think Allen offered stability. Those type of players are always overlooked because they aren't 'stars' but imo are a real necessity if you want a balanced team.

Yep. Most of this month people have been moaning about our lack of depth yet players like Allen offered exactly that.

Never a world beater was our Joe but he always moved and tried to find space to receive a pass. Something we needed pretty much most of Jan. He had his flaws on the ball but he was always the one trying noticeably hard when the rest of the team looked lazy.

ah lads c'mon. the guy was **** and you all know it.

remember him playing in league cup for rogers v swansea and doing exactly what lucas did v wolves. ran forward when stepping back owuld have dealt with the danger.

the guy is nothing special. never was never will be.

    On that basis....

    Can is ****.
    Gini is **** sometimes.
Lucas is the white dog turd that was **** and left for so long it dried up and turned into a chalk-like log.
Stawart is **** (you'd agree on that)
Grujic? No idea what he will be like.

can is certainly playing very **** but at least he's staying fit
Gini is **** quite a lot recently
Lucas is exactly what you say
    Stewie is a steamer
Grujic is nowhere near the pace of the league

    so what?

If allen had been still here he'd be in the treatment room. we all know it.

Its klopps fault he went for 3 cms and ended up with only 4 options including can. thats the only reason people are calling for the bearded jesus wannabe.

Perhaps Klopp should spend £90 million on Griezzman or should have stuck in a bid for Carlton last year? Or perhaps he won't spend money on players that aren't worth it and is waiting for the right ones to be identified.

Nobody is going to stay parked on our bench for a small fortune when they can get a bigger fortune on someone else's.
Or, in some cases, get more game time.
I have to laugh at fans saying we should break the bank to get all these players that they have identified as our saviours, when we were on the brink of financial calamity so recently. Not to mention the fact that so many players who look good elsewhere fail to cut it in the Prem.
We can't have everything. Our first priority is to get a really strong 13 or 14, then try to build from there. We have to play most of them in all competitions or be resigned to going out. We are not going to suddenly acquire real strength in depth within 3 or 4 windows.
Only consistent success or a whole ****load of dosh is going to make it happen.
We really need to get our collective heads out of the clouds on this one.

We don't need a team of specials, one would do atm <laugh>

We have a long history of not having a team of stars but rather workhorses, utility men and reliables who got the job done, went home, stayed out of the trashy press and came back the next day to repeat it. Allen was actually getting better and better and we did ourselves and him a disservice with the timing of his sale. We're clearly suffering and he's all but disappeared. Another season or two with us and we both would have benefitted.

We don't do egos ... are you listening Can.

There isn't a single player atm that I'm excited to watch. Come back Suarez all is forgiven .....

Allen was never a holding out defensive midfielder either imo.
