If Kolo stay's it has to be to keep dressing room/ training morale up. He might be staying just to keep Sakho happy, think of Sakho after Klopp denying the bromance!

No denying Kolo is great to have around the place, he's a big friendly giant - funny guy by the sounds of it too.

But keep him to play. 5th choice is pushing it!

    Let's get real here lads.

Kolo should be nowhere near our back 4. He seems to be a great guy to have around, so maybe the way Klopp is thinking is if we can keep him in some form we should. Maybe the orange peeler or something. He brings morale and fun - that's priceless, especially when we'll be having a new influx of players coming in.

Just look at the guy, he's got funny written all over him. Sakho's main man and he also has a wealth of experience. He seems very happy here, so lets just tie him down and keep him.

Look at the difference between him and his brothers attitude - he got all the fun genes for sure.

In all seriousness a player/coach deal is probably a good option. He has tonnes of experience, and he is actually quite vocal and a bit of a leader so should translate well to a tactical coach.

Guess ss depends what he sees himself doing. Does he want to be playing a whole season in what is his last couple years as a pro or is he looking to go into coaching in which case could be a good option.

No harm in a couple kick abouts in cups v the dregs with kids in.

We've not a great option coming up at cb imo so gomez is the only guy this would block if a player coach

Linked with Andre Schurrle, I'd be happy with that.

He's ****e. Only thing he's good at is running and movement off the ball. He's basically a German Walcott

Thought he was quite good at Chelsea. de Bryne and Sturridge couldn't make it at Stamford Bridge, could do well for us. Wolfsburg are having a good season, may have an impact there.

Schurrle as been playing for wolfsburg!

Actually looking at him it makes a little bit of sense. He actually started at mainz in 2009 so must have been known as a kid to klopp who left mainz the year before.

He's done alright at wolfsburg too. got more games there than mourinho was willing to give.

he;s only 25 at this point too.

I suppose if you were to write a description of the type klopp needs to play a pressing game this would sum up shurrle

"One of Schürrle's "key assets" is his "long-distance sprinting on the counter-attack."[Schürrle also has an excellent fitness level, work-rate and pace. Schürrle is considered to be a "good finisher" and "capable of executing counter-attacks effectively".He often likes to cut inside, shoot from distance and enjoys time on the ball."

So i was right then, a German Walcott. Don't get me wrong, he's not a bad player and he has his uses but for me he registers as probably making the mark of a top 4 club player. He's great on the counter attack, defensively he's no milner. He's fast and his dribbling is alright. His finishing is a bit hit and miss for me, so more like wally but his movement and pace will always get him opportunities. Speaking of which since you guys are moddling yourselves as a counter attacking outfit he might fit.

When a team defends, for me he's pretty useless as his build up play and for a guy so big, he's quite weak on a ball, bit of a bottler. Just my impression whenever i have watched him play. Also he's not a true winger in that he will hug the touchline.

    Who wants a winger though?

I think in general you have him as a 22/23 year old so i dunno if he's manned up any since.

the style for klopp is win it back fast and swarm guys so he might fit that model.

i dunno... its like this; better than lallana i reckon
