During the initial rebuild think he didn't spend too much on player's, could be wrong, but the Polish trio he bought in were cheap..
Hummels, Reus, Gotze, Kagawa, Gundagon, Sahin, etc.. were home grown or bought in cheap..

Rues they let go as a youth and bought him back for about 17m I think... But other than that, yeah rest were quite cheap.
 
Udinese have confirmed there is concrete interest from Liverpool for Piotr Zielinski.

The 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at Empoli from Udinese, has been on Jurgen Klopp's radar for some time.

Zielinski has impressed in Serie A this season, scoring four goals and creating another six.

Earlier this month the Poland international, who is valued at £11.5m, admitted Udinese had spoke with Liverpool over a potential transfer.

And now the Italian club have confirmed the Reds concrete interest in the midfielder.

“There is interest from Liverpool and it is concrete interest,” Udinese director of sport Cristiano Giaretta told Italian radio station Radio Punto Zero.

“He is doing very well and has the eyes of the Premier League on him.”

That's a transfer that I suspect is highly likely - everything seems to point towards it happening.

I know very little about him, so it'll interesting to see what Klopp see's in him.
 
We have Grujic coming in too, so at least we have better numbers and hopefully more ability in an area we are lacking in both.
 
hopefully its so well advertised its actually all but done but it seems the lad is advertising it a lot so I hope theres not a last minute sntach form some place.

I do think the klopp name and a Uefa tophy (please god) will make us much more attractive.
