According to GFFN, Arsenal board refused to approve €100m to sign Wenger's priority target Griezmann.

I've seen a couple of reports suggesting the club refused to go higher on his transfer fee.

If this is true the board can go **** themselves. Other clubs near the top are willing to spend this sort of money, the board say they are willing to back Wenger with the cash if he says he has found the right player, yet when he decides he wants someone and wants to pay big, the club says no?

**** you Gazidis.

Yup its a lot of money.. but if Pogba is worth that much Griezmann surely is.
The guy is still young can play upfront or on the wing and pretty much guarantees you 30+ goals a Season.

This is the kind of signing thats would transform the side. The board are clearly a bunch of morons.

He is a great striker but would he fit your system?
When I see your team play they always want to walk it into the box, you need a clinical poacher to score in those circumstances, Griezmann needs to run onto balls played across or ahead of him to get the best out of him.

Lucas Perez is an interesting one.

He seemingly came out of nowhere last Season. Scored 17 goals and 8 assists and generally had a excellent Season scoring and creating.

He looks like he should be a top striker as the guy is technically superb, works hard and is quick but you have to wonder why the guy just hasn't scored more goals throughout his career. Maybe he's just a late developer?

Sturridge is potentially great but can you imagine Arsenal managing his injuries?.. He would literally live in the medical room.

Jeez, i'd never even heard of him... how do you have the time to watch all these players and know them?! Or is this an opinion based on wiki stats???

Anyway less than 1 in 2 for Deportivo it appears and only hit double figures in a season once in his career.... not sure why Wenger would go for someone like that when he keeps banging on about signings needing to be better than what we already have.
