This Italian Journalist Emanuele Giulianelli (@EmaGiulianelli) is still maintaining Arsenal are going to sign Benzema. (He's been tweeting everyday for the last two weeks on this.)

Jake Humphrey (BT Sport ex BBC) has Tweeted that a source close to him who is rarely wrong has said that Arsenal are close to a transfer that will make them genuine challengers for the league.
Same dude and he said the same thing about signing Benzema, but it was suppose to be today. This guy needs a slap.

who else could it have been about?
He could well be talking about Benzema and there again it could easily be another player
Please stop playing with my emotions and let this be true. If Wenger somehow pulls this off, he's surely added another 5 years to his contract.
That pretty much sums up all the transfer rumours from the media, it's all Mickey Mouse.
Jake Humphrey is BT's main football presenter so I reckon there's a good chance of him having connections in the football world that's not to say he isn't bullshitting about his source

Considering Coqulian got the runround from a 16 year old, I think he should be the back up, to anyone.
