I had a lot of hope for Ryo but he doesn't seem to have gone anywhere in the last 2 years, not sure he'll be at Arsenal for much longer
Have you watched much of Ryo batman? He is lightning quick, has a good shot, good cross, very direct - and good references from the managers he hasplayed under.
And to top it off he is asian and having an asian player in our squad would help our global growth of fans and financial aims in the far east.
I'm not sure whether he will ever be good enough to be a starting player at Arsenal, but i could see him becomming a good squad player like Park was for Utd.
Personally i really hope he does make it, i like his style of play. He is still young and has plenty of time to bulk up - people said the same about theo.
That is the only reason he is here. Yes he is quick but he doesn't have a football brain and his technique is almost as limited as Gervinho's. He offers absolutely nothing to Arsenal except market appeal.

Miyaichi plays with freedom and is exciting to watch. When he was in Holland and at Bolton he played like an established player in the middle of his career. Thats why i think he will still make it despite an injury plagued spell at Wigan which didn't work out.
Also in pre-season he looks like he has bulked up from the very small size he was before and it is a similar criticism that was aimed at Walcott until he bulked up more. He can work on adapting to the physicality of the league whilst on loan at a premiership club. If he doesn't get aloandealstraight away i look forward to seeing him in the League Cup.
Have people read Martino's comments on Cesc tonight? Reading between the lines, I think he might want to leave.
If it was up to me I would loan Ryo abroad to a less physical league he can thrive in. That way when we sell him we may get a decent fee for him. I do not see him having a future with Arsenal at all. He can't handle the intensity/physical nature of the Championship and he is not good enough for another PL club.
Gnabry is the future and I expect him to feature more next season along with Bellerin and Zelalem. I would loan Chuba to a Championship club.
