Walcott drifts inside when he's playing on the right and him and Rooney could work well together if he dropped back into the 'RVP' role. Cazorla for me needs to play centrally, that's his best position. When I first heard about the Rooney rumours, I just couldn't see it happening, but to be honest I think he could actually be a top quality player for us.

He'd be far more suited to Arsenal than any other side.

Where would Rooney fit into Arsenal's system?
He seems to play his best stuff in a role behind a lead striker, but wouldn't that lead to Cazorla being pushed out wide or being forced into the midfield?

It's good to have options, but I sometimes feel that Wenger buys players without considering where they fit into the system and then tries to alter their normal role.
Worked brilliantly with Henry, but a number of others have fallen by the wayside since, in my opinion.

That's a myth. His best performances have come when played as a striker. I also think Cazorla played better on the left, but that's just an opinion.

Rooney did well in the AM role, but he seemed to get bored of it pretty fast. I'd rather play him as a striker now. He had a great season playing striker after Ronaldo left United. As someone said, he tends to depend on good crosses coming in though.

Rooney
Podolski Cazorla Walcott

Le Parisien reporting AVB is the priority for PSG with Laudrup and Hiddink staying at their clubs. Apparently the €10m release clause isn't a problem.

No matter what happens with Bale being linked to Real and AVB to PSG it looks as though it will be another unsettling summer at N17 unless both commit to Spurs ASAP, but neither has come out to the public and categorically said "I will stay".

It's not a good time to be changing managers. There aren't too many reputable names to go around atm.

The tea boy will stay I reckon. And el mono too until after 2014. But Suds should Cash in now before the 2014 World Cup and bale may not be such a hot property

According to David Ornstein of the BBC Arsenal's priority is a CF and we are keen on Higuain. We are also after an attacking and a defensive midfielder.Apparently we are not after defenders unless one leaves and we have no interest in Wayne Rooney

Nani would be an OK signing but really how many wide players do we need?

Walcott, Podolski, Chamberlain and Gervinho. Then as back up Rosicky, Diaby and Santos plus the fact we have Ganbry and Campbell pushing for a first team place.

Seems like we need to cut down the squad before we should add.

If rumours are to believed then Gervinho is on his way out.I can't see Santo or Diaby putting on an Arsenal shirt again and i think it'll be another year at least before we see Campbell.

Personally, I think we could do with a proper left winger and allow Cazorla to play centrally, that's his best positon.

Oxo, Theo, Pod, Gervinho, Gnabry, Miyaichi, Campbell - all capable as wingers. Can't see a new one coming in.

Rosicky & Diaby have both been played there too, and Gibbs began as a winger.

Just driven to Gatwick, never driven this close to London before. The South scares me. Work are sending me to Germany for a couple of days. I'm expecting some awesome signings by the time I get back - don't let me down!!
