I still think he can convert to center back like Thuram did in his later years. Would be a shame to lose a player who can actually defend.Sounds like Sagna is off then. A bit of a shame really, although he's lost a yard of pace, he's still one of the best RBs in Europe.
More talk of Utd making a move for Fabregas this morning
My inside man at Barca also told me, he's not interested in a move to either Utd or Arsenal
I was planning on rimming you grandad til he bled to death you **** flap.![]()

My inside man is a little boy who always wanted to play for Manchester UnitedMy inside man told me he's only interested in moving to Newport County.
I suppose I'm mainly going on his performance against Sunderland (or Stoke?) when we were down to 10 men and he had to play center back. That was a 10/10 job he did there. I've noticed he gets a lot of defensive headers, last ditch tackles, and covers our CBs well too. He seems to be exceptional at the defensive side of the game, and from what little I've seen of him at CB, he's done great there.i don't think he can.
he can tackle, but he'd have to learn how to position himself defensively again. I've played both CB and RB, and I can tell you it is quite difficult to adjust. Even more so as he's playing at the top level of the sport.
He could become a more defensive RB, but that wouldn't suit our style of play so I see him leaving.

.Hearing massive news that PHW could step down at the end of the season (Ladyarse on twitter) Pretty reliable.
PHW is well past his sell by date and in my opinion part of the reason that the board have been so conservative over the last few years. There have been a few issues going on that PHW and co have been very quick to put their own interests first over and above the team and results on the pitch. Time for some fresh blood at the top.I would welcome that news with open armsPHW is well past his sell by date and in my opinion part of the reason that the board have been so conservative over the last few years.
