Absolutely.
When has AW ever given up on a player in less than a year ?
Plenty of speculation about Villa and Jovetic being done deals, if that's the case Pod and Giroud will make the 4 pronged strike squad and for the first time in years we'd have very decent back up to cover injury/suspension.
Walcott will also see some CF action and I'd expect Gervihno to move on as he is still under contract and we can recoup a few quid for him

Never been convinced about the Villa deal. I just can't see it.

I can say with absolute certainty that I don't give a **** what numbers people wear on their shirts.

Cant see Jack giving up the no. 10 shirt.

Who cares what numbers they wear anyway?

If we sign Jovetic and Fabregas I will not complain about ANYTHING for a good 6-12 months.

Oleksandr Yakovenko has signed for Fiorentina on a three year deal. Jovetic on way out. Must be imminent move to Arsenal surely?

So here is a classic piece of nonsense from the press. We hear Inter are going to buy Fabregas. But no mention of the fact that Milan need to effectively offer double what Arsenal are prepared to offer for Fabregas. Fabregas left Arsenal for 35Million pounds and Arsenal will be due half of any future sell on.

If that is the case, and Arsenal are prepared to take him back for what they sold him, I mean why not, Milan would have to offer 70M pounds, before Barcelona would keep the same amount of money from the transfer. Lets be honest here, the highest transfer fee ever paid by an Italian club is the 38M pounds paid by Lazio for Crespo, It just isn't happening.

White striker would have already reached a principle in accordance with Arsenal to sign for five seasons and the London club would pay a figure close to 22 million euros for the player. The environment of Higuain had several offers and has already taken the decision to leave the white club at the end of the season.

Stunning translation

So next season we will have Rooney, Higuain, Villa, Jovetic and Fabregas if the twitter rumour mill is to be considered truthful :)

He's only scored 3 goals against top half opposition this season, with the likes of Di Maria, Alonso and Ozil supplying him. And it's not like Spanish defences are notorious for being hard to score against. People complain about Giroud not being clinical enough to score in big games, I don't see Higuain being an improvement on that.
