according to Alan Smith Falcao has failed a medical at United. Might affect Welbeck deal.

 

Not sure how it could affect the Welbeck deal - Surely both the clubs have signed the contracts as well as the player. Just waiting for the forms to be sent.

 

Debuchy is also less disciplined.

 

The extension is only granted once both clubs and the player have signed documentation to the effect that the deal can be done and all parties are willing and trying to get it sorted. After that point i'd imagine it is very difficult for a club to try andgoback on the deal.

 

If the contracts are signed then Welbeck is ours regardless of the Falcao situation.

 

I was thinking that about Sandro when I saw QPR were after him this afternoon.

 

It would be hilarious if Falcao's signing for United doesn't go through.

It won't be hilarious if we don't get Welbeck because of it.

It wouldn't be funny because it would mean Sanogo as our main striker until the New Yrar

 

At this point I will take Wellbeck because simply having Sanogo as our CB for 4 months is not an option at all...Having said that, I don't see this as a good signing.

Hopefully Wellbeck proves us all wrong and does what Sturridge has done at Liverpool, there's nothing better than being proven wrong by a player at your club, it's the only time one feels proud and happy to be proven wrong. But I just can't honestly see Wellbeck getting us 15-20 goals.

 

What about the other players we have bought this window ?

 

That would be funny in a way though, dark comedy type.
