Have you got an inferiority complex like many arsenal fans?

A united fan saying welbeck is better than any striker you have may well wind you up but it is entirely factual.

Maybe if you and your fellow fans were prepubescent ****ing whinge bags it wouldnt cut you up so bad?

Welbeck has done nothing to suggest he is any better than the strikers at arsenal, so suggesting it is fact that he is easily better than anything we have and calling people morons for not agreeing is clearly going to get you the odd reply suggesting your a wum.

I'd suggest maybe if you weren't so rude people wouldn't react to you in the way they do.

As for your comment about Welbeck, he hasn't shown anything which would indicate him being better than any of podolski, giroud or Walcott. Giroud will finish the season with 20+ goals and has previously been the league top scorer in France. Podolski is one of the best finishers around, he is a German international with a great goal record who has played for both arsenal and bayern as well as scoring 18 league goals for a relegation threatened team. And Walcott has some of the best stats going for a wing forward in the league, his pace and finishing are deadly.

There is no chance Welbeck would be a guaranteed starter week in week out. On top of the 3 above we have players like Cazorla who play wide and hope to get in a new lwf in the transfer window. So even not playing centrally he would be hard pushed to get a spot in the team.

Not sure why your so sure Welbeck is better than anything we have at arsenal when the players respective careers and stats suggest the opposite.

    I actually quite like Wellbeck.

Think he could push on a level and start smashing in the goals with a good run of games behind him. (He has always looked good at International level.)

    He needs to play regularly.

Still I would rather we went for Mandzukic, Costa or Martinez.

I think costa will be on his way to Chelsea. I think they tried to do it last summer and settled for etoo on a year contract knowing they will get there man this summer.

Mandzukic is basically giroud, I want a striker who can go past there man or give us a different option up top. I'd rather we had a few different styles to choose from than just a load of big men. That's not to say I wouldn't be happy with the signing, I would just prefer someone else.

Hes far better than any striker you have. By miles.

    Note striker not player.

He would be brilliant for you guys, hes everything you need amd is very much like the last two great strikers you have had in terms of him having experience as a winger, full of pace and links up well.

He would also do well at Chelsea.

At United he doesnt get game time or plays out wide. He still gets a good return though.

Even a dog that's been dead for 3 days is better than Giroud, so clearly Welbeck would be an upgrade. But Welbeck himself is pretty average.

You only see a bit part player at United, often out wide.

Look at sturridge and whats happened to him when hes become the main striker.

How you can say he is miles better than any striker we have with such conviction is beyond me. He hasn't had a consistent enough run in your team to prove he is top quality.

While I do think he is a decent player he has done absolutely nothing to be called miles better than our strikers. And I assume by "strikers" your attempting to narrow it down to just giroud and Sanogo? Sanogo we haven't seen enough of to judge and giroud has already proved he is a top striker. He was top scorer in the French league before moving to arsenal and will finish the season on 20+ goals in his second season in the country.

Maybe once Welbeck has actually achieved something or fulfilled his potential he will be a better player, but currently there is nothing he has done which would justify saying he "is far better. By miles". While I appreciate from watching him you may have a personal opinion that he is a better player, but saying anyone who doesn't agree with that assessment (one which isn't supported by the stats or the players careers) is a moron is taking the opinion to far.

I appreciate this and with a run in a top team he may become a very good player but until he actually does it it's all speculation.

Seriously, your strikers are painfully bad.

It doesnt take a genius to see he would be a step up.

Who are your actual strikers? Giroud, bender, who?

He's by no means world class but good enough to be part of a top 4 squad in most leagues in Europe. He's been the top scorer in the French league, he's having a 20+ goal season in his second year in England. He's a French international player. And he has an average of approximately 19 goals a season over the last 6 years.

He's good at what he does. He's never going to be the world class player we want and he is by no means a lethal finisher. But he has proved he is a good player.

Giroud has more goals than all your strikers barring Rooney (who has the same number as he does). One would think you'd learn to stop talking **** especially looking at my sig.

Our strikers who can and have played down the middle for us currently in the squad are giroud, podolski, Walcott, Sanogo and bendtner.

Oxo... I would go and check those stats out if I was you.

33 starts 14 goals. Girouds stats.

    RvP 17 starts 11 goals
    Welbeck 14 starts 9 goals ( winger )
    Hernandez 5 starts 4 goals
    Rooney 27 starts 17 goals ( number 10 )

It all depends how you look at the stats. Welbeck has 10 goals in 31 appearances total this season, giroud has 20 in 45, that's 100% more goals for 50% more appearances. It's all about which stats you use!

But he was right that giroud has scored more goals than all your strikers this season, but joint with Rooney. He didn't say anything about how many appearances they have had, or how many starts, or which competitions. He just said giroud has more goals this season which he does.

2 of those in the list have played only limited numbers of games as strikers. Giroud has played every game as a striker.

The stats are clear as day. He wouldnt be anywhere near our squad while all of our strikers would start for Arsenal. I doubt any of you believe otherwise either. Most of you think Giroud is dogshit.

Top scorer in the french league <laugh> Seriously?
