So Arsenal would be better than one of Bayern or the German national team?

Funny how it was a pleasant transfer window so far when I wasn't expecting anything special from it, but now that it's being reported we're bidding for Draxler I'm anxious and will probably be disappointed if we don't get anyone...
I hear youSo Arsenal would be better than one of Bayern or the German national team?
I meant club teams, Johnny Pedant, though even then it was a wee joke.
Was it you Bear who spotted & wanted Draxler more than a year ago? I remember someone talking about a pretty unknown German kid as being the next special thing.

My word yes. I was quite content to sit this window out.
Stupid Draxler rumours. Getting my hopes up, my expectations raised. It's like you're pootling along perfectly ok with life only to be told that on the 31st of Jan (invariably) you're going to be given the xbox one for no reason other than to make you happy. Then, when said day arrives they replace the xbox one with a kick in the nuts.
And I fall for it. Every. C*cking. Transfer. Window...
Unless something comes out of nowhere in the next couple of days, it looks like Wenger is going to gamble on Giroud staying fit for the rest of the season
I think he views Bendy and Sanogo as adequate backups. Only time will tell if these guys can step up to the plate.
You're not telling me there's no one better than Bendtner available?????I think possibly he realizes that they aren't adequate, but he doesn't think he can improve on them.
Given that new players are hardly ever at their best when they first arrive, even if you have a low opinion of Bendtner/Sanogo, it could be difficult
We don't want to saddle ourselves with an average striker now, that doesn't improve us that much and sits on the books for 4 years, bringing down team morale, or worse stops us signing an A-lister in the summer.
According to John Cross of the Mirror,Arsene Wenger has dropped a big hint about transfers. He quoted AW as saying "Hoping to have some news for you"
