cheeky bid for zaha in the winter. probly wont sell but the fact he's playing for the reserves tonight cant be making him too happy.

I wonder if we can raid them for their best players at the end of the season ? I'd take any one of Rooney, Hernandez or Welbeck and maybe Smalling and Kagawa too.

IMO Moyes cant keep Rooney happy if he keeps RVP as first choice. so who goes from United - Rooney who has asked for a transfer twice in last 3 seasons OR RVP who gave them the title last year. seems simple choice ! or what about a cheeky bid for RVP !

still think we will bid £50m for Suarez which will then trigger a higher bid from Real Madrid, and we then will bid for Benzema as he seems surplus to requirements http://www.caughtoffside.com/2013/0...nzema-likely-to-leave-real-madrid-in-january/

I don't think Benzema will be an improvement on Giroud though. I'd rather we went for Suarez or waited until the summer to get a top quality striker then.

there does seem to be a lack of available strikers which will then limit who we can go for. the list of potential movers and probable costs are:

Suarez £50m
Benzema £25m
Rooney £35m
Benteke £25m
Ba £20m

i wouldnt want us to go for Welbeck or Hernadez as no better then what we have already

Who in **** would pay £20mn for Ba

We could get Ba for £8 million, £20 million would be insane.

I'd go back to Madrid and test their resolve with a bid for Morata.

Glazers will give David Moyes war chest to save Manchester United's season
United owners prepared to back under-pressure manager with major funding in January

Will there be some easy pickings at Man U come this January should he bring a few signings in? They might have a few players they are willing to sell on....

Not really the only players I would take from UTD are players they won't sell - Jones, RVP, Rooney, Fellani - Also if at all possible I would try to nab Carrick (32 but just pure class - form not great so far but he was POTY last year for me).

I would have taken Nani too as he can play on either wing and we're light in that area. But agreed, the players we need from them are the ones they wouldn't sell. I would have taken Kagawa but we're well stocked in the midfield department. I think Hernandez is worth a punt, as we're short in the CF department.

if we going CF in Jan would rather go bigger, Kagawa is not worth it and din't Nani sign a new 5 year deal he ain't going anywhere but I wouldn't have said no but will he move from bench to bench cause he ain't starting ahead of Theo or Caz/Pod

Yes but we can't play Giroud, Walcott and Pod for every game. We need to rest and rotate our players if we want to last the whole season. But i'm with you on the CF side, we need to go big this Jan for one, and you know which player I want in.

They flat out won't sell to us, I really hope the club don't waste time going back for him

What about a crisp £50m bid this Jan window? That might do the trick. Also he might end up kicking up a fuss and push for a move? To sweeten the deal, we could offer a free loan deal for the best striker in the world?

I honestly can't think of a big name striker we could realistically buy in January.

How's Jackson Martinez going this season?

I'm surprised no one's attempted to buy him, he looks quality to me and Porto's players are always for sale at the right price

Disagree. I think Benzema would improve alot under Wenger.

I just cant see Suarez happening.

1.Liverpool WONT sell to us
2.They want at least £50 Million

But to be honest I cant see Wenger spending £90 Million on just two players.

However.. for £50-55 Million I think Lewandowski would be just as 'possible' as Suarez. He's just denied that there's any official agreement in place with Bayern.
Dortmund could still sell him in January.

Also for a simular fee Falcao will most likley be available. (Rumours are Monaco may need to sell.)

I would take either of those over Suarez anyday.

Still I think it's FAR more likley we go in and buy a striker with TOP class potential. (For a fraction of the cost.)

Possible raid of our rivals? I would take Lukaku or Wellback.

Hernandez would be incredible for you. Kind of an EduardoVela hybrid. nice. <ok>

Zaha for you guys not in a million years, it's taken how long to get Theo to the level he is at now? Zaha has very litle end product (and I loved him a palace).
Nani, Young and Valencia all seem massively inconsistant atm.
Jones and Smalling make lots of mistakes
Carrick too old and not better than what you have

Rooney or Suarez would complete you guys imo, or at least give you the quality needed to be champions (if you can maintain this form and lack of injuries).

Benzema would be a massive waste of money.
