Before there was such a thing as the transfer window there was never any thought about how long it would take a player to settle at a new club. Players were transfered and they made their debut for their new club.It seemed to work well for a long time
Fenerbache won't be an easy game and we do need signings. Ideally we'd have got them done by now, but if it takes it to happen in the last few hours then so be it. But if we don't sign anybody then the **** will hit the fan.
The only thing I can find on Twatter is that we've made a 6m bid for Ashley Williams #unimpressed is that how it works ?
Right I'm going to bed then. In the morning I will expect twatter to have ensured that we've signed Suarez, Gustavo and a defender who isn't Williams please #Goingtofuckingbed
Not sure but total ratio of games won with him is 60 % compared to 20 % without him. The rest have been drawn...
Terrible form. Our only win in 2011/12 season, without Arteta, came on the last day of the season. We did beat Milan 3-0 without him though.
Rumours on twitter the player we're linked with is Ki Seung Yeung from Swansea EDIT: it was someone joking on Goonersworld.
Would hardly shock me if Wenger went out and got someone like him, such is his idiocy in the transfer market, these days.
I'm not necessarily concerned about the CL qualifier... last year wasn't exactly an easy one either, but the lack of depth shouldn't be a huge issue there. My concern is that by leaving it this late Wenger might be thinking that just 1 or 2 signings will be enough going into the season, and we obviously need more.
