Im pretty sure liverpool made a 40 million pound loss in their last financial accounts, clearly they cannot afford to operated at the level they are without champions league football, with FSG advocating a self sustainable model, and unlikely to pump any more of their own finances into the club, they may well think selling suarez for 40 million is a good option, despite what brenden rogers thinks.

Totally agree. The Madrid Chairman said there was no solid bid from Arsenal and the mirror says there was fighting over the price, I believe the guy at Madrid tbh. Similar with the Rooney thing, the media seem to be saying things Rooney has not. I guess they just make **** up when there is nothing to print. No shock there cos these tools get paid to write and if there is nothing to write don't get paid
