Liverpool have been bent over in the transfer market once again. They have loaned out Reina as they couldn't get a transfer fee for him, from a club who have publicly stated they have £100M+ to spend this Summer. Their transfer dealings under FSW have been pretty poor, Torres apart who they only sold due to a ridiculous bid from Chelsea. Maybe we do have a chance of getting Suarez and for less than the £55M they reportedly want for him.

Im pretty sure liverpool made a 40 million pound loss in their last financial accounts, clearly they cannot afford to operated at the level they are without champions league football, with FSG advocating a self sustainable model, and unlikely to pump any more of their own finances into the club, they may well think selling suarez for 40 million is a good option, despite what brenden rogers thinks.

Has Reina actually been confirmed or is it just a story on the bbc? Take it with a pinch of salt, I'll actually wait until its confirmed by the club before you go about talking about us <ok>.

I loathe that man. Actually I loathe most "ITKs" Just let the clubs do their business and stop trying to spread **** to give fans false hope. Same with the BS media outlets.

Totally agree. The Madrid Chairman said there was no solid bid from Arsenal and the mirror says there was fighting over the price, I believe the guy at Madrid tbh.

Similar with the Rooney thing, the media seem to be saying things Rooney has not. I guess they just make **** up when there is nothing to print. No shock there cos these tools get paid to write and if there is nothing to write don't get paid

I'm very cynical of the media but I think there have been too many stories about Higuain and I think there has been negotiations between Arsenal & Madrid

BREAKING - ESPN Brasil says that Arsenal 'appears to be the closest' to sign Bernard, whose move to Europe is imminent. #AFC
I know this is just a Twitter rumour but I was listening to Tim Vickery on the World Football Phone In on 5 Live in the early hours. He thinks Bernard is too "lightweight" at the moment for the P.L.

The thing is there could have been plenty of haggling going on without a formal offer actually being made, so technically both parties are telling the truth/lying, depending on how pedantic you wanna be.
