Can't see it happening to be honest, but I would be thrilled if we did. As long as it's not for £24m, I don't think he's worth more than around £18m

When Everton signed him then they paid 15million pounds - so I doubt he will be cheaper than 22-24million pounds. I think he would be worth it because ....

- He would give us some steel and allow us to stand up against physical teams like City, Chelsea and Stoke.
- He would provide a plan B.
- We have so many corners and maybe we can convert more.
- Very vertisile
- And he still knows how to play football

Anyone else find it kind of foolish that Gazidis came out and admitted the available transfer kitty was around the £70 Million mark?

"I'm talking about an extra £70m of additional, high-margin revenue - so of course we could do that."

Now clubs know how much we have to spend.

If we sign Fellaini I hope we play him as a DM - it's his best position.

He would be a QUALITY signing IMO.

A bit yes! But then maybe it tells player who are thinking of accepting an arsenal bid that there will be serious investments (even though I doubt it very much!)

It makes we wonder wether he's actually trying to put pressure on Wenger to spend.

Why not? He's the modern day Vieira. Tall, powerful, commanding, and dirty as f*ck, but in a good way. Any guy who floors Ryan Shawcross and gets away with it is a god in my book.

And he has awesome hair, meaning the club will sell afro wigs, bringing in more cash, and we know how much the board loves cash.

It's a personal preference for my self and then whether or not he would be able to adapt. I don't really want want him because of how he conducts himself on the pitch, he's a filthy player with a severe lack of sportsmanship; all though if he were to be signed there's always the possibility that that behaviour can be put under control. I'm wondering whether he can adapt or not because Everton play negatively which suits Fellaini, he'll be in a practically the opposite with Arsenal. I think we may have some problems with his positioning as well, versatility is one thing but I think he's going to be too similar to Song. It just doesn't strike me as the right signing, hopefully I'm wrong though.

I remember Fabregas for a long time used to drive an Audi A3 to training. Even I could afford one of those..

Latest from BBC, David Ornstein

Fellaini camp, #efc & #afc all deny release clause met. Arsenal not in for Rooney or Cesar. Jovetic on radar but not near top #bbcsportsday

In my opinion we don't need Fellaini. So if we were to sign a midfielder for that amount of money, there's only one winner.

Yeah I hear you, if we had to choose between Fellaini and Fab, I would take Fab. But we need a striker more.
