Jovetic would be a good start, i still think we need someone thats just a pure finisher as well. Such a shame Eduardo got crocked, he was really starting to look uselful before that game at Birmingham..
To be honest i've never felt a typical CF suits the way we play football. If you look at the strikers that have excelled under Wenger.. Henry, Anelka, RVP, Berkamp etc.. None of them were 'traditional' CF's. I dont think a Gomez/Raul/Van Nistlerooy type striker is the best option for our system. I would rather a Benzema/Suarez/Cavani someone who can lead the line but run at defenders and interchange with the other forwards. We dont have the kind of system where we can accomodate someone just hanging around the box. (it's snot like we put in alot of crosses) So from that perspective Jovetic could be exactly what we need, he's quick, skillfull, a good finished - It all depends on wether Wenger can get the consistancy out of him that is needed at the TOP level.
The Star has us linked to some Barca player. Cesc something or other. Apparently he's bought a flat in London and isn't happy at Barca. (Please sign him back Arsene, he was my favourite Arsenal player post Bergkamp)
Apparently that was the only reason wenger would let him go for 30 million, as he originally wanted 50 million, at the time I thought it wouldn't be much good as cesc did not seem like he would leave barca considering the fuss he made to go there, but might be a shrewd move after all.
I think it was London, i may have misread the article. And he could still play in Manchester anyway, it's called commuting.
This is awesome though, because it works well for us either way. Either: A) We sign Cesc, which means we have Cesc back, and we all know how devastatingly awesome he is in a Wenger system B) Someone else signs Cesc, which means we get a ****load of money to strengthen the squad anyway. It's a win/win.

Fabregas is an Arsenal fan. You only have to follow him on Twitter to realise that. I cant see him leaving Barca for any other club.(not by choice anyway)
Problem for Cesc is that he can't play that Xavi role. He has become too English in his style and is not anything like Xavi. Also, when they try to play him alongside Xavi, they have to put Iniesta out wide, and he is not that effective out there. Barca did not need Cesc, they should have spent that money on a proper CB.
He's apparently a bit reckless, and his attacking skills aren't great but defensively he's good. My Lyon supporting friend rates him above Capoue but below M'Vila.
