7 million for a 29 year old average defender. Good deal in my book

One down two to go,then watch the replacements arrive <doh><doh><doh>
We’ve got the following already at the club.
Baker
Wright
Vynar
Kelly
And Taylor Moore.
Central pairing likely to be Wright and Baker with Vynar and Kelly are looking like two good prospects behind them. And you yourself raved about Taylor Moore so what’s to worry about.

Take your point about RR , assume you are being sarcastic because I can’t say I’m optimistic about our chances with that list , whilst Vyner and Kelly are good prospects I wouldn’t predict anything other than a relegation battle unless we bring in some proven quality defenders beating in mind Bryan is likely to leave too.

Not to mention Reid is likely to go and possibly Pack also .

I’m normally a glass half full type of character , but I have to confess I hope we start to hear of some decent incomings or else I fear we may struggle next season.

To me Flint is a hero for his goals and character. But let’s not forget this time last season he wanted out and done a great thing for the club by extending his contract getting us more money.
However we’ve been concededing goals and Flint is one of the constant players on the pitch (and the others you mentioned) so perhaps a change in personnel won’t be such a bad thing. I will be sad to see him go and always appaud him on his returns.
You can be half glass full if you like (ironic you said Supercon was negative) but change is not always for the worse.
Me I think Baker will step up and be the ball winner with one of the bright prospects as they seem comfortable on the ball to pass it out.

I’m concerned by the amount of change all at once and getting anxious that we will be able to attract players of better quality , once it’s all done and dusted and all outgoings incomings known I will feel better , at present I fluctuate between negative and positive , I guess my posts reflect that .

Rod
Bailey Wright, joined in January 2017, so I've seen more than enough of that cheat to know he's not worth his place in the side.
Surprise surprise the Australian national side have also seen the light. Don't worry LJ knows he's screwed up with Bailey Wright and guess what - he will squander, again, the money from Flint's transfer.
But hey, keep your head down.
The Landsdown's love idiots.

So what you are saying is you haven’t seen him play for over a season but you are judging him on his first six months at the club even though those first six months were far better than Flints first six months at the club. Brilliant!
