Not so, LJ. He was happy with a failing manager in Monk, though very unhappy with another manager who's win record was only slightly worse and with a cup win under his belt. A curious fellow indeed.Fact 5) Dai is never happy with anything, ever.
Just seen it on Sky Sports - Guidolin says he targeted him: he had him at Parma. He asked the Chairman to go get him. Well done, Mr. ChairmanLatest from Franco, Palochi on his way for medical.

He likes to play a striker out wide if you read the comments on the managers thread, that may well be where Gayle if signed comes in to it.Fast and furious .....left back please if we have the time and money .
Wonder if Guido will dabble in only 3 defenders and use Gayle and Paloschi together up front .
Gomis must be on his way to Newcastle if this all goes down methinks
Cool .... Look for Norwich to put a bid on Gayle now though ,lot of spy vs spy is going on by teams around the relegation zone close to the window shutting . Everyone doesn't want opponents to have the players they want .He likes to play a striker out wide if you read the comments on the managers thread, that may well be where Gayle if signed comes in to it.
Here you go roof.
He wants to have a midfield full of players that are able to press the ball and the opponent. He likes to go and attack but always being careful. A lot of times it starts from the wingers. The wingers are [required] to do a lot of jobs and one of the two wingers is often more defensive and the other one is sometimes a striker that is put very wide - especially on the left."
"For example, at Vicenza, he had only one centre forward, and on the left there was Marcelo Otero who was really a striker but was used as a left midfielder because he was able to get in between the lines and to serve the centre forward or to score himself."
"So he knows very much about tactics. He has done the four line defence but he knows very well the three line defence. In fact, I think that he will try in the next period to do the three line in Swansea if it will be possible because in these last experiences he has always tried this [three at the back]. He is a man able to do a lot of tactics."
Hope you are right. Still pleased if this hoes through though.That. Plus, being offside because you can't be that bothered to make much effort to stay onside is different to being offside because you're trying to break the defensive line (and still scoring).
Are you actually reading any posts on here Aussie ? I can see everyone especially you moaning about the way the seasons going after nearly every game...Why single me out just to act big and score points...It isn't working pal...Not so, LJ. He was happy with a failing manager in Monk, though very unhappy with another manager who's win record was only slightly worse and with a cup win under his belt. A curious fellow indeed.

Don't tell us , tell Guido .We dont need to change the way we are already playing, All we require is a good striker to finish the season off........If we start to play differently at this late stage of the season then it may go pear shape.....keep everything simple and get a proper striker to give us more fight up front....
