For the life of me can't think why we'd even consider selling Ayew in this position, this time of the season!! Unless they offer >£25m
Pure bullshit IMO
I talked about selling 3 players , not the whole team.
Gomis , because he's become semi useless and want him bought out and rid his 55 a week wage .
Shelvey , because he's not fitting in and was keeping Britton from playing and because we could get top money. ...as it turned out we did get top money
Ayew , we could make a bundle and he isn't the type of winger that suits us .we have Routledge Barrow and Montero who do .
Although Ayew is our top scorer , look where we are in the table .After 21 games , as a team , we've scored 19 goals and don't look ourselves .
Last season after 21 games , Without Ayew , we had 27 goals .Rationlize that .
Problem is he hasn't replicated that since he left. Add to that no football for a season I just can't see how he is gonna be match fit let alone make an impact in the next 3 months. I hope I am wrong but I just find it hard to comprehend that our first signing is an injured midfielder with no match fitness as opposed to a striker. Charlie Austin just gone to the saints for 4 mill and we buy JDG. [HASHTAG]#confused[/HASHTAG]Just have a look at how many times JDG sets up Michu in the year he scored all his goals and they were good balls into the box behind defenders something Ayew would thrive on. I do worry he is injured and played no football. Its not all about how hard you can tackle, but what you do when you get the ball as well. I do think we need an old fashioned strong central midfield player, but we create 4/5 of **** all in and around the box at the moment, Fabianski was the one who created Ayews goal on Wednesday.
As for Sinclair if he can give us a few goals from midfield then I would be more than happy.
Scoring 27 goals in 21 games last season and scoring 19 goals in 21 games this season is an issue , hide from the fact all you want but it's an important fact and should be addressed .Shelvey and Ayew kept Britton and Routledge out of the team and we're playing better now with Britton and Routledge in the team .Since moving Ayew to the middle and ridding ourselves of Shelvey ( at super money I might add , at a time we don't have a lot apparently ) Britton and Routledge are clear to play most games . The Britton , Ki , Siggy connection is finally getting a chance to shine . Britton and Ki are really building an understanding which will pay dividends. It still leaves us with Ayew not being a striker though , playing players out of position doesn't work out a lot and we've been playing players out of position a lot so they can play .Last season is completely irrelevant, Breezy. We need to look forward, not back. You didn't talk about three players at the time of my response, you talked about two. this was your post:
"If Ayew goes , we'll make a fortune and if he goes it will be to a bigger club than he's at .
Gomis might downgrade though , interested ?"
Your later post said that IF Ayew was to go, the money "would be a consolation".
I have no problem with your point on Gomis and I understand your argument about Ayew and our shape. If Ayew needs to start on the bench then so be it but we need him. I firmly believe that if you are deep in the **** you do not EVER sell a proven goal scorer in the January window. We sold Bony but we were in decent shape then, not flirting with the bottom three - but even that was a risk. I can't think of any of the fans I speak to who remotely think that money would be a "consolation" if Ayew is sold. It won't be.
There is a time to sell and it depends on a number of factors, including where your team is in the League. Sell Ayew? I'd be gobsmacked - and hugely disappointed.
Austin has scored goals in the PL Doumbia is unproven in the PL. Only 4 million just what are we doing?

Didn't they sign D grey from Birmingham and he is a wingerWell at £4Million he has to be a better squad player than Edder? Huw going on about the difficulties of finding duffers like Eder and Gomis, and he completly miisses a Charlie Austin deal, It's clear to me that Huw Jenkins is out of his depth, and the sooner we get someone proffesional in to look after the transfer deals the better, we are a joke at the minute, What about D Grey also from Burnley going to Liecsester for £3.5 Million ? Another good Striker missed by Huw Jenkins who was well within our budget, the speed of our board is nothing short of pathetic..........![]()
Didn't they sign D grey from Birmingham and he is a winger
Andre gray is still at Burnley isn't he or am I in a parallel universe
I trust you have paid them a visit? Or you leaving @DragonPhilljack to do it?![]()
