Allen , Sinclair ,DeGuzman. Meanwhile back at "Strikerless in Swansea " , If we want Allen , Sinclair ,or DeGuzman , wait till summer when the price is better , see if we need anyone depending on which league were in .
All we need now is to drag more wages down with us if we get relegated .Lets concentrate on the final third in the window .
Well, if you believe the Media:

Ayew to be sold for £14m
Gomis for £7m
Monty for £10m

Add that to the £12m received for Shelvey. That's an inflow of £43m.

Buy Joe for £8m & Sinclair for £3m
Loan fee of £1m for JdG

That leaves more than £30m. Pay a loan fee to Citeh for Wilf ?

Allen, JDG, Sinclair and a good striker would be great signings for now. We cannot afford to wait until the summer, we HAVE to be in the PL next season with the money involved.

Buy him back <cheers>
Add Nigel De Jing for a few extra million too.

Allen is not going to dislodge Britton from his position
DeGuzman is not going to dislodge Ki or Siggy from there position .
Selling Montero and bringing in Sinclair is a straight downgrade .
Allen , DeGuzman and Sinclair would need time to get up to speed and with 17 games left in our situation , it's time we don't have imo .
Just a striker for me , it's all we need .

No they wouldn't as they are used to the gameplan we are trying to get back too. As for Montero v Sinclair, Sinclair has lightening pace and has the finishing qualities that Montero doesn't. JDG/Joe would be great options because imo, Ki needs to be dropped to make him wise up.

JDG for me would be better than Ki, who is way too casual on the ball. JDG was / is better with the ball and can score goals. Montero really is a one trick pony with no end product....therefore Sinclair for me. We need more than just a striker IMO

Well at least we have a serious tactician in to help Curt, that's a massive plus, now for the Striker, though it looks like De Guz will be the first transfer in, by the way his surgery he's had is very minor, but hearing we are in for Joe is sweet music..........<ok>

Whether minor or not Phil it's stillsurgery. Add to that he hasn't kicked a ball all season can't see him being being match fit for several weeks. Just don'tsee the point of this signing this late on.

The big problem for a team near the relegation zone in the winter window is players don't mind leaving but they don't want to come in and the prices reflect that .
We don't have a bad group of players , they've just been mismanaged most of the season .
There coming around imo , if we want to take a chance on spending this window let's keep it down to a dull roar and keep it to a striker .

Always thought Sinclair was over rated as a Prem player (most of his goals in that first Prem season were penalties)....BUT...
If he wants to be here and commits for the next 3/4 years he is a useful player, both on the wing and up front...and he's "home grown".
Certainly would be a more valuable squad member than Shelvey or Emnes or Eder (if we're never going to play him).

£2m for a home grown addition in January who could contribute seems reasonable. In effect we'd have made £4m on him.

Get it done Jenks.

If the reports are right , even though I don't think we need Sinclair , and we can get him for 2 million and he's really pushing to come ....I'm in .
Looks like Newcastle are going to bid for Gomis . Starting to think Shelvey and Gomis spent a bit of time on the bench consoling each other in whispers and now Shelvey is whispering in McClaren ear...just a thought .

Swans linked with Feyenoord midfielder?
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf has reported that a number of scouts watched Tonny Vilhena in Feyenoord’s 2-0 defeat to PSV.

Swansea are rumoured to be one of the clubs present.
