Hull City Offer £1.5m for QPR Midfielder Jermaine Jenas

Steve Bruce hopes to land Loftus Road man.
Hull City are set to offer Queens Park Rangers £1.5million for Jermaine Jenas, after losing out on Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios according to the Daily Star.
Steve Bruce wants to sign a new central midfielder to help his sides fight for survival next season, but Honduran star [Palacios] appears to be on his way to Loftus Road since Harry Redknapp gave up on Scott Parker.
The QPR boss wanted the Spurs midfielder and was willing to pay the £2million asking price â set by Andre Villas Boas â but the English international has no intention of dropping down to the second tier of English football, with the 2014 World Cup approaching.
Samba Diakite will be used as part of the deal that sees Palacios leave the Potters this summer.

Adel Taarabt is in Bruce's sights

Adel Taarabt is the latest player to be caught in Bruce's net as he continues to trawl the footballing world for a summer signing
After falling foul of Harry Redknap, Taarabt has thrown in the towel at QPR and has decided to switch clubs. The most likely club is Marseille who have shown interest but Taarabt is also keen as his sister still lives there.
The 24 year old midfielder is on Bruce's watch list and QPR are more than keen to loan the player out. Stoke City are also in the running for his services as are two undesclosed German sides.
Taarabt comes with a £50K a week price tag which maybe too much for the allams to digest and the Morrocan International has already stated
" If OM want me, I'm going. My sisters still live in Marseille. This is the first club I supported." so the former Spurs player will have to have a very attractive package laid at his feet by Hull City.
But is Taarabt trouble? His discapline is questionable and has a tempremental attitude deciding to end his international career the day after being dropped to the bench for an African Nation's qualifier against Algeria.
For an attacking midfielder his goal scoring tally is 7 for the past two seasons with 10 assists and for my money, we need a player with a little more in his locker. I say Bon Voyage Monsieur Taarabt.
