Arsenal, Aston Villa and Swansea City believed to be after Mbia, while Fulham and Stoke (Mark Hughes) consider Diakite.
We have Ryan Sanusi on trial from Willem II. I know a couple of guys who live in Tilburg so Ill ask them what hes like. 21 yo attacking midfielder.
TRIALIST Ryan Sanusi will travel down to Devon with the rest of the QPR squad when the next instalment of the R's pre-season campaign begins on Saturday. The Willem II midfielder has spent the last week with Harry Redknapp's squad and the R's boss will take another look at the 21 year-old during the six-day stay in Woodbury. The Belgium under-20 international could even feature in the R's opening pre-season friendly against Exeter City on Thursday night. Tour squad: Green, Murphy, Hill, Traore, Ferdinand, Simpson, Onuoha, Bosingwa, Young, Suk-Young, Ephraim, Mbia, Faurlin, Derry, Granero, Hoilett, Park, Wright-Phillips, Taarabt, Mackie, Jenas, Remy, Zamora, Johnson, Sanusi.
I think its a pretty clear indication that we will never see him again. also interesting that the club have started to name trialists, glad they are communicating things a bit better.
David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 3h Stand by for another glut of Barton non-stories now he's not in the squad for Devon. Finished at #QPR long ago. Soon to be officially gone.
After the debacle against Newcastle, first time I can recall a home player forcibly substituted by the crowd, I reckon he'll last 10 minutes before the deafening boo's force the same again if he starts. And I don't enjoy that sort of thing at all, lets move him on and start with a positive feel.
There lies the problem for me at LR ... a billy graham culture exists whereupon a flock mentality takes over and is channelled towards a easy target because he doesn't huff and puff the English way ... if he gets picked then its because of footballing matters ... Like Flyer said to me and stated on here that he was worried i would get a punch when i supported Bosingwa against Newcastle ... The game was a total calamity from the first whistle with two pens that any other week wouldn't have been given ... at real time remember they were super soft yet the ref who was awful got no abuse at all ... the pack were waiting to eat Bosingwa a season full of hurt channelled through to a ex Chelsea player ... **** the fact that the idiot Green generated the entire danger for the 2nd comedy goal ... we were already down and Bosingwa got it. In a way i was inviting my hope that someone would have had a go at me so i could exhaust my own frustration about the simple fact he is a great player and some of our fans are too brainwashed to see this. Yes he looks lazy but i would pick him if he stays as he has a premier league game in him which requires a certain skill. Forgiven ... Why is Harold forgiven? a lot of brainwashing has worked ... ever considered the fact that Harold picked him ... now there's something to ponder?
To my mind...this is a new season. And he begins with (almost) a clean sheet. If he is picked, he buckles down, plays as though he cares, doesn't smile when we lose, fights for the ball....then the crowd will come back to him...the animosity is 90% of his own making. But I accept, that Bosingwa has little leeway...Clint could have I love Chelsea tattooed on his bum...and the crowd would assume he was kidnapped...but with the right attitude he has a couple of matches to win the crowd over Bosingwa could become a begrudgingly accepted favourite (he has the class, just not the application LAST season)...Harry seems to have faith in him
You've been getting away with this nonsense for long enough Dave. Bosingwa has never put any effort in, either on the pitch or off it with the fans. He doesn't care about this club and doesn't care if everyone can see it. Time and time again he just jogged back after possession was lost last season, right in front of me..........JOGGED for ****'s sake. I don't give a stuff who he used to play for.....I'd have welcomed Lampard in an instant......Plus, you keep on describing him as if he is some unbelievably fantastic full back. He isn't!! He's a good player with some technical ability who doesn't give a monkey's toss about QPR. He's not in the same class as some of England's past fullbacks.........Neville, Dixon. You rave about him as if he's on a different level to everyone else just because he's from the Continent. He isn't!! The fans want players who will sweat and give their all for QPR. NOT because we are all Neanderthals who don't appreciate ability, but because we want our players to CARE!!
This was posted 11am today by a guy called "insider" on WATRB ( http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/showthread.php?165300-Bit-of-an-update ). It's probably bollox, but thought i'd share it anyway! The guy does seem relatively respected on the other forum.
Nigeria's Taye Taiwo seals Bursaspor switch from Milan Too bad we couldn't hang on to him. Like Diakite & Mbia, Taye Taiwo was a bit awkward when first introduced on loan with us, but really settled into his role. please log in to view this image http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23217649 Nigeria defender Taye Taiwo has completed his move to Turkish side Bursaspor from AC Milan. Taiwo, who played on loan at Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev last season, passed a medical before finalising his three-year contract on Friday. The 28-year-old joined Milan from Marseille in the summer of 2011, but struggled for a regular first-team place, spending the second half of that season on loan at Premier League club QPR.................
Austin is reported as nailed on for Hull in today's rags so I'd guess we could only hijack it by offering him more money...
