so you think he's alright??

Bit nervous we're panicking after the Remy fiasco.

At the right price Chaz. Loan would be ok. I hope we don't ruin what has been a good window with a inflated signing. I would be surprised as I am pretty sure HR said we wouldn't be making any £10m signings in his press conference after the game.

So is Borini just a loan?

Surely.................surely by Godzilla's huge green gonads we are not offering 13m?

Someone please put me at ease and tell me its a loan.........surely not.....

I would bite Defoe's tiny tattoo'd arms off right now. Even without arms he will get more goals than Borini, who has 'loaned to Atalanta with a view to a permanent move' written all over him. I am actually angry at someone else spending this much of someone elses money.

Problem is mate I hear Defoe hasn't got legs anymore

i agree - loan sounds infinitely more sensible, although the rumour we're buying him outright seems to be gathering pace. I suspect he's only on the radar due to Remy doing the offski. Transfer deadline day - it's like buying a suit off the internet and hoping it fits the day before the wedding.

It's flipping madness!

Ignore the bitter Evertonian. Borini is a gamble, but at 23 he will certianly improve with first team opportunities. He's got good movement and pops up in the right areas, needs to work on his finishing. TBH he's probably still worth what we payed for him (£7m), but it's deadline day so you're gonna pay a premium so the fee of £13m sounds about right
.

Borini appears to have a strike rate of about 1:4 games. Perhaps 9 goals over the rest of the season. But if only a few of them are match winners, that is very precious at this level.

Didn't Harry also prematurely and unofficially announce that we had signed Hooper last year, I am sure I recall a similar event to the Diarra "signing" and it all being a bit embarrassing ?

The football fans have been served up a load of tripe now where the first 3 games are a joke. No one will have a side working unless you buy in the summer

I said we would be paying 15M for players two years ago and was laughed at … How long for the first 20m QPR player? next year?

Borini at 13m Balotelli at 16m? who would who have if the choice was open?

Redknapp is full panto mode … what a knob

Tobes is an Evertonian <ok>. You could do far worse than Borini, ie you could end up with Welbeck god forbid

Cheers for the info SR <ok> If he's getting PL goals at 23, he must have something about him (and hopefully room for improvement).
