Owned one pair of troop trainers and a pair of spx. They were the bollocks wearing them down the youth centre with ya skateboard.
And my Hitachi Super Woofer blaring out public enemy .
.I bet SPX are collectable now.
Must be different up here as I’ve never seen anyone wearing them. All the chavs wear either normal / classic air max and now those white foam soled things either Adidas or Nike. Under armour too they all look exactly the same.

Loved my spx. I lost them in the river as I used to be a member of the rowing club. I changed out of them to some other trainers and popped my spx in the boat.. I then proceeded to capsize my boat in the middle of November and the river was very high with really strong currents. By the time I swam and dragged my boat to the side of the river they had gone.
I very nearly bought a pair of lovely yellowy brown brogue Chelsea boots the other week. But decided I’d probably never wear them. I’ve got nearly as much footwear as my mrs.
I must have over ten pairs of trainers in various states of decay. Three pairs of smart casual boots and desert boots and 5 pairs of brogue type shoes for work.
