Northampton are on an absolutely dismal run of form, although it’s tight at the bottom so they are by no means written off yet. Surely we can’t **** this one up, can we?

3-0 Ipswich

The games come thick and fast now with almost half the season left to play in just three months.

Question is do we throw a tenner to watch end Winter lower league drivel on a wet Tuesday night? Is Covid frazzling our judgement?

I'm predicting a fairly routine 2-0 victory. Following Blue Action's protest at the training ground yesterday - causing training to be delayed by several minutes - you know what Lambert's excuse will be if we don't pick up three points tonight.

I'll reserve my judgement til i see the team sheet.
If we revert back to the X1 against Blackpool, i can see a very comfortable, and surprising, 4 or 5 nil
If h sticks with the OAP's in defence, then a scrappy 1 nil win

I can see Parrott finally getting some goals, maybe even a hatty

Better line up tonight apart from Sears on the left (that’s what it looks like to me) much rather see Lankester there but other than that, happy with the team. Can actually see us winning this 1

I would swap out Downes for Bish. Sears is one of the few players who does make things happen more often than not. Lankester if fully fit should not be kept out of the side by loanees.
