Surely we must have another LB lined up if we are loaning out BAE, this leaves us with just Rose and Naughton (who I dont rate as a LB), and Vertonghen who prefers to play at CB. It is looking like we will bring nobody else in.
As it looks like we won't be signing anyone else you have to take your hat off to Levy. Not many clubs could spend over £100 million and end up making a profit!
I would be interested to know what Piskie thinks of the transfer window. We have actually made money and they have spent £40 million so I think the pressure is on them. He thinks we will have failed as we have "spent" over £100 million when actually our net spend is probably the lowest in the league. No one can accuse Spurs of buying their way into the top 4 if we do make it.

Really don't understand the situation with LBs.
Benny is miles better than Rose yet we're loaning Benny, one of the Prem's top 6 LBs to a Champioship side... Just mad.
All I can say is that LB must be coming in, otherwise we've messed up there big time. We've had a brilliant window with incomings but leaving us with Rose as our only recognised LB is a shocking decision.

Either your face fits or it doesn't. Naughton, then Rose...his face doesn't fit.
Stranger still is that Mata's doesn't seem to fit at Chelsea.
The press aren't suggesting we have any LB's in mind. The BS ITK boards still insist that Levy has a last minute mega deal up his sleeve. Can't see it in all honesty. I think we're stuck with a crap left back in Rose when QPR have just taken a quality player in Benny. If this is how it stands come 11pm, that's sheer insanity!

You are right Luke that is a bizarre decision by Mourinho. It's like Mata has done something to annoy him as he hasn't even given him a chance. He was arguably in the top 3 players in the premiership last season. Weird.
