Talking a lot about what "we" are doing recently, mentioned his mate Ghaly's return to Europe and talked up the possible move for Villa and Baldini's role at the club.
Nice to know he's still thinking of us.
 
not going to get excited about Soldado. The spanish press have a habit of hyping things up that are not true in the slighest. Not saying Mido is lying, as he might have inside info, but I doubt it.

the info i've been reading suggests that they are holding out for a lot more than we're willing to pay (30mill euro buyout).
Hopefully they'll accept something reaosnable, rather than being greedy like Internacional/3rd party ownership were/are over Dameow.

Not a surprise, really, given his time on loan with us was probably the best spell of his entire career.
 
Anyone read anything about Honda? He's been playing at a very high standard for a few years, then had a cracking confed cup and is available on a free. I haven't even seen him linked with anyone in the press apart from the odd article.

I'd love for our central midfielders for next season to be

Honda - Sandro - Paulinho - Dembele - Holtby - Gylfi - Livermore
 
Valencia have to sell since they missed out on the Champions League. It's well known that there finances are far from good. It is very likely that Soldado will move on in this window and for a reasonable price too.

Everton and Milan are favourites for him, although at £5m surely he's worth a punt?

...as long as somebody informs the commentators his name is pronounced Keh-skay.

I couldn't remember if it was Sevilla or Valencia who had the money issues. No wonder they're holding out for 30m euro's.
sounds like there's a good chance of this happening if that's the case.

The whole situation there is a complete mess. The club is basically bankrupt. However, due to (now declared illegal) support from the Valencian Gvt, it was kept afloat. Now the majority ownership has reverted to Bankia who, are basically bust themselves, having been already bailed out with E.U. funds.

Be in no doubt, though,that the Valencian Gvt will fight very hard to try and make sure the club survives.
 
A summer window where total possible incomings could be:

Paulinho, Villa and Soldado would be unreal. Plus agreed deals for Halilovic and Jedvaj to join when 18...

Is this really Tottenham we're talking about? <laugh>
 
I want to get excited I really do, but we have been let down before on many a transfer so I will wait for the official announcement on the website. The Wums on this site will have a field day if the Paulinho deal falls through

It all sounds upbeat and positive but as far as i've seen we've signed nobody.
 
I refuse to believe until its announced on the spurs website...even then i will expect them to be sold on the last day of the window <laugh>

Pretty funny but was mainly predictable. The start was the funniest:

"I'm Carlos, I own Corinthians... Unfortunately I don't speak English and neither does Paulinho", "It seems we accidently sold him" <laugh>

The rest as I said was just predictable...
