Nah, it's ok. Both the chairman and the player mentioned Tottenham repeatedly, TJ.
One example: "I will not play in the Cup winners’ Cup because there are contractual requirements of Tottenham which not have to be discussed here"
"It was a decision that we all respect. Of course I had a huge will to win another title, but the transfer has to be completed."

I think you'll find that, unless my reading skills have severely diminished, the headline says "Corinthians director confirms Paulinho will move to TOTTENHAM"
Perhaps this will do then....he says once again, "I will not play in the Recopa because there are contractual requirements of Tottenham, that cannot be discussed here"

Can't blame you TJ there have been many false dawns with Spurs "signings" so like many until you see him holding the famous white shirt you won't be convinced!

My point was a headline means **** all without a quote - there are headlined stories every single day with no quotes that are made up.

Interesting(ish) take on today's - and this close seasons - events, although I think the author makes one fundamental error to make his final point: that the funding of these early purchases will come from the sale of Bale - whereas, every indication is that the likes of Paulinho and possibly Villa would not be joining us (and no CL) if he was on the move away.

Great news about Paulinho and Villa looks likely. If the four big signings we keep hearing about are these two plus the Croatian teenagers then, according to my calculations, we are still a left-back, a playmaker and a striker (all ready for first team football) short.
The same people who reported paulinho have now confirmed that villa is 100% a spurs player and will be announced Thursday, if not , by the end of the weekend.
Looks like Luke shaw is next on the agenda according to those same people, followed by a young striker, chirpy. However they aren't confident we'll land shaw.
