Are man this sucks. Poor old Suarez's arival being marred as well. Plus, as he hasnt agreed personal terms, might he pull out as a result of this?

Well rumour has it that it was more in the 35-40 mill category. Whether they have improved it since this morning is a different matter. It worries me even if we did receive 50 million though as I doubt the owners would plough all of it straight back into transfers, and even if they did, who would come to us now? No CL. No Torres. Suarez only came because of Torres. As the Americans like to say; what a huge clusterf**k this all is.
 
Batman you were on normal 606 stating about how you agree Suarez was a great deal for us, and generaly sucking up to our members. Why are you now wumming?
 
How dare he do that to Liverpool FC? Stood by him all season while he's walking round with face like a slapped arse...the fans deserve better, keep him and let him rot, leave his international career in the ****ter! Good luck to all! <badger>

Suarez could still pull out of the deal. It could still all go arse about face. But if we get Suarez & lose Torres, the minimum we want is for Suarez to outperform Torres (which on the basis of the last 6 months is quite possible). The price difference would then just be a bonus. Big grey areas though.
Yeah I'm just pitching for 50m as that might change Liverpool's minds. I won't expect signatures on either side before Monday though.

I kind of pity him though. I mean I wouldn't wish Chelsea on anyone!

Though I will add that Athletico also felt that love, They are our Spanish equivalents as I see it. But he won't get it at Chelsea

I was not sucking up to anybody. I think Suarez is a quality signing. I think losing Torres would be a massive blow. Don't see what the problem with either of those points is. And I also don't see what is wrong with laughing at Liverpool. Seriously, what do you expect?
