Well rumour has it that it was more in the 35-40 mill category. Whether they have improved it since this morning is a different matter. Suarez could still pull out of the deal. It could still all go arse about face. But if we get Suarez & lose Torres, the minimum we want is for Suarez to outperform Torres (which on the basis of the last 6 months is quite possible). The price difference would then just be a bonus. Big grey areas though.
Yeah I'm just pitching for 50m as that might change Liverpool's minds. I won't expect signatures on either side before Monday though.

I was not sucking up to anybody. I think Suarez is a quality signing. I think losing Torres would be a massive blow. Don't see what the problem with either of those points is. And I also don't see what is wrong with laughing at Liverpool. Seriously, what do you expect?
