Well ... seeing as you said please <hug>

But was it really 'really, really unlikely' that we'd beat Liverpool ?

We were quite lucky today. Had Liverpool had more clinical finishing, we could have been talking about a big loss. I thought that, with Bellamy firing on all cylinders, Liverpool would be better going forward. Evidently, I was proved wrong.

The team may be finally acquiring belief that we should keep going for it - never give up.

We may well be losing, but know we can turn it around.

We actually defended quite well at times, certainly better in the second half than in the first although our midfield was basically overrun. I can't remember too many chances we had at goal, and at no point can I say we were on the front foot in this game apart from the final few minutes after we scored the winning goal.

Big day today for us even though we aren't playing.

Every possibility the spuds will continue their collapse at Everton. i think its probably the biggest game of the season for them.

The scousers are playing sunderland at a very good time. No catermole or Sessongen. And as usual the scousers have no injuries (although maybe a few injuries to downing, carrol and adam might help them <laugh>)

And the silly chavs have a home game vs Joke City. They should win but you never know what team manager fat frank is going to put out. Depends on fat franks team talk I suppose.

1 thing is for sure. Results could easily go our way today and then on monday we can elimante newcastle from the top 4 and basically take a giant step towards 3rd/4th next year.

COYG :)

Stoke down to 10 men. Ricardo Fuller you utter bell end. <doh>

Still 0-0 though at half time. Chelsea haven't threatened as much as they might have liked. Still I expect them to score eventually; Stoke are utterly useless away from home and down to ten men...

Bendtner LOL <laugh> Fair play to him though, a real predator's goal <ok>

At least he is helping us out this year <laugh> Although to be honest liverpool's team today is so horribly bad that I doubt they are more of a threat than sunderland.

Hoenstly Kenny Dagleish wasted £100m on some of the worst players imaginable.

Fair point.

The thing is, for the youths, he actually looked an excellent player. For a big guy, he was deceptively agile, pretty quick, scored from different ranges and played like a centre forward who has everything. I guess he has to go down as yet another player who has flattered to deceive and has failed to produce when we need him.

That said, I would take him over Park or Chamakh any day of the week - but that just shows how dire our back up strikers are.

I remember that goal he scored...last season I think, where the ball got floated over to the left side of the penalty area. He controlled it with the outside of his foot, ran in and did a low curving shot into the far corner.

It was sublime and it just shows that he does have talent - he's just massively inconsistent.

Going long ball against Sunderland is as stupid as it gets. They sit so deep and their CB's will clear it all day long.

Looking back at it, we did really well to get the 3 points at the Stadium of Light. That pitch is ****ing shocking and the wind is unreal in that stadium. Not to mention Sunderland's tactics under MON. King Henry really did get us 3 huge points in that game.
