because they know what they are. Even with all that gazillions of cash they still think it is an unbelievable miracle for them to be on top. I am sure, if they win the trophy, they will wake up every night in sweat from the nightmare where FA comes and takes their shiny thing away, with everybody crying "Cheats!".
 
I understand the bitterness towards the Man City hierarchy, but not towards the fans. The lad above clearly loves his club with a passion. Is that something to hate him for? It isn't as if he had a choice in who bought the club and he and his fellow fans are hardly going to demonstrate against the club for spending untold millions. I am sure we wouldn't mind some of their cash if the chance arose.

In an ideal world I would like to see financial parity amongst all clubs, but that's never going to happen.

I went to the pub on the first Monday of the season when Citeh beat Swansea 4-0.There was a fellah sitting at the bar in a brand new Citeh shirt.I didn't know up until then he was a football fan never mind a Citeh fan.
