    Sometimes have a pre match meal in Weatherspoons, wouldn't take a lady there though.

    You've got to go to Fratellis in Ponteland. It's fabulous. I remember I walked in with my girlfriend in the summer in shorts and t-shirt, we saw champagne holders on every table but were too proud to walk out....lol

    We were sat down by the most professional waiters i've had, considering how I was dressed. Meal was actually quite affordable considering the image it creates.

    High recommend this place

    Hana Hana at the end of Stowel St always goes down well with my biatch. Seen saylor the last time i was in too. Awesome Japanese Restaurant.

    Best place for chinese in Stowell St is Landmark by far

    Highly recommend Adriano's on Gosforth High Street. Very romantic setting a good food. Search it on google.

    The Landmark is great, but you've got to get lucky with a table tucked away in one of the corners, otherwise it's ruined by horrible, loud, oompa loompa looking wannabe WAGs ¬_¬ *rant over*

    Me an our lass went there for my birthday in Feb this year. Shared a table with Leroy Lita, Seb Hines and Justin Hoyte. They all joined in sheepishly when the chef sang happy birthday!

    Like ****e. They were dicks actually, I **** you not they had their ipods in most of the time and were never off their phones ****ing tweeting and on facebook etc. Absolutely no banter at all.
