I think he's an excellent coach who has not won the trophies he's "supposed to" because of logical circumstances that fans tend to ignore.
He overachieved really at Spurs as they got to a CL final, which tbh they didn't really have the squad for.
Then he went to PSG and did exactly as was expected from him apart from another CL final.
Then he went to Chelsea and turned that rabble into a coherent fun to watch side.
Even if he doesn't ever come to us, I think Poch is a very good manager.
I can respect that. At least you give reason for optimism if it does start to happen
imo it's only if Howe is either hired by England in the coming week or he's sacked around Jan. Other than that I don't see any way Poch isn't in a job before the start of play next season.

Thing is, for me, I don’t see a better candidate for the England post IF they want English
That will be potter or carsley reckon. Possibly Lampard.
Think Howe will be fine and if both Guehi and Yilmaz are in by next week will all be good if we can avoid injuries.

Always liked Chiesa, but he had a dull Euros… Potter will be an odd choice for England - out of work, made no impact with the Chelsea All-Stars, a slow burn at Brighton … Carlsey, yeah, knows the set-up and the current international players; company man. I just think Ed’s got the pizazz that the FA might want after the lacklustre football (but Final worthy) at the Euros. There’s a World Cup around the corner and there’s not the time for a Potter to grind through the gears (and they’ll be taking the Chelsea experience into account… he might’ve got there eventually, but it looked like a few seasons worth of work and the WC doesn’t allow for that).

That’s what I’m saying. Howe can only do what he can with what he has got.
If they don’t get the players in. He can be smug.
And still has Burn Murphy Longstaff and Miggy in the first team.
But yes he’s a had a bob or two spent.
