Anyway, the point is while I agree it sounds a lot of money, if you compare our spending with other teams, we've not exactly gone crazy. The regulations have slowed down what we could have done. It's why we still have Longstaff, Murphy and others in the squad. The bigger issue will be if Howe picks them over more capable players when everyone is available.

You do know that 7th to 13th is 6 places forward not 5? And bottom when he took over to 4th in his first full season is 16 places forward?
I thought it was 12th initially but that was Bruce's 1st season. Only looking at full seasons... same as penfold likes to. So we've moved from 13th to 7th yeah.
