The word is a present tense verb. Meaning at that time by very definition.

I never said he'd win that .. I said psg were interested and he ended up there which was correct.
Is he now useless because he's not good enough for PSG ? I don't think so , but I'm not bothered anyway we're not fighting relegation now.
