Apparently asked for a few players at Sheffield, got told no money so he packed his **** up to walk after the game yesterday , if that’s the case the club is ****ed

Interesting if so! The latest one of the old guard to have been found out?

Also be interested to see how Big Sam gets on at West Brom

I've not found any confirmation of this so far.

As For Pulis and Big Sam, they both know how to get their teams to defend.
In a relegation battle that's a great thing.

But Sam has always been described as being very up-to-date with his emphisis on diet, training, etc.
Like PdC but with man management skills too.:emoticon-0140-rofl:

It was a few things about it going round twitter last night, but can’t find them now

I like pullis remember a few years ago we turned stoke over 4-1 and the reporter asked if because of a midweek (in Kiev)game tiredness was an issue for stoke.
The same week miners had been killed in an accident( in south Wales I think)
Cant remember Pullis exact reply was but it was along the lines of "miners died this week for a pittance of what these players get so we tiredness is no excuse "
Seemed down to earth who realised what a good life he had working in football.

You don't hire Tony Pulis and sack him after ten games. Well, if you're a ****ing idiot you might.
After 10 games is no time, not with half a season to go and that they've picked up a few points. I mean, christ, they're off the bottom of the table now and only 3 points off safety. I think it's more to do with the financial mess they're in (they were late paying November's wages in full and the PFA are involved) and stuff going on behind the scenes than anything else.

Maybe so I don't know what their situation is. Mind you whatever's going on it was a brain dead series of decisions, if they couldn't afford him why the f did they hire him and if they didn't like what he was doing with the team why the f did they hire him.

It's not a mystery what you get when you appoint Pulis he's been around for ages.

Seems a strange one but 7 points from 10 games is crap like and is worse than what Monk got. Revolving door of managers generally isn't a good sign either and think they'll do well to stay up.

I pity the next club who has to suffer the tedious cap wearing ****er. Unless it's the mags then I'll be delighted

There's a lot going on behind the scenes there. Starting with a dodgy deal to sell the ground to the owner for £60 million which copped them the points deduction they've had. It also seems that there's not a lot of money there, they're late paying November's wages in full with thd PFA getting involved and concerns about December's wages being paid. There was a rumour about 10 days ago that he'd resigned after disagreements about a lack of transfer money for January and a row with the owner about what's needed in terms of players and other behind the scenes stuff to be sorted out. Most Wednesday fans blame the owner as he comes across as a clueless dictator who doesn't like to be told that he's wrong for the mess they're in.

Managers like Pulis, Warnock and Allardyce need time to get the players playing in the way they need them to. Pretty sure Allardyce only took 9 pts from his first 11 or 12 games with us. Ultimately you know that a manager like that will eventually tighten things up and keep you safe

BSA's Palace lost 0-4 at home to Moyes' Sunderland in his first few weeks in charge FFS :emoticon-0140-rofl:
