Managers like Pulis, Warnock and Allardyce need time to get the players playing in the way they need them to. Pretty sure Allardyce only took 9 pts from his first 11 or 12 games with us. Ultimately you know that a manager like that will eventually tighten things up and keep you safe

Maybe, but their stats in those first ten games were complete crap, conceded 12, scored 6, 20 shots on target and 7 points accumulated. Lot of sheff wed fans were whinging at Pulis not even playing a striker and saying the football is the worst they've seen but despite that, it's the owner that is getting the main bulk of the grief as he has been a total clusterfuck at that place. They signed a lad called Josh Windass in the summer for 500k and are now selling him for 400k which isn't going down too well either.
