No they won't, we've made a £9m loss this season despite the parachute payments and we hope to break even next season and that again includes the parachute payment, we're spending more than we're generating and the Allam's have no chance of getting any return unless we get promoted.

So therefore you would have expected the Allams to speculate to accumulate.

Loan Ricardo Fuller from Stoke, pay his wages and win promotion and then the Allams pocket some cash?

i think NB said he doesnt want a plan B or words to the effect

If that's true then he shouldn't be a football manager.

I don't mind him having his principles and wanting to play the right way, in fact i fully support it. But surely he's not naive enough to think his way is best and we don't need a backup plan when the other team figures you out or have the personell to counter you

Not a big fan of Swanny but I think he called it right at HT on RH - (without the likes of Koren) we are a young inexperienced side -King Stewart Brady Dudgeon tonight and although Mckenna is an old head he isn't vocal (in the way Ash was)

Clearly need to address this next season as well as sorting the striker situation out.

Taking Josh King off For Simpson?????????????????????????????????????????????????

Mmmmmmm

Are we not losing 2-0?

Lets take a striker off???

Clueless

Guys, I think you are doing alright. You have a lovely stadium with a great atmos, a good team. It's all fine and dandy.

We've got loud support, but little else.

so replacing a striker with hardly any goals with a striker who's got more goals is a bad move?

I'm not complaining about our predicament at the moment because we need stability more than anything. But it is frustrating to spend all season in and around the top 6 to end up quite probably throwing that chance away at this late stage, because of problems we've all been able to see for months. We seem to have lost all consistency which basically means our strong defence no longer exists. Pair this with goalscoring problems and it doesn't look good for the rest of the season. If Barmby gets some funds next season it'll be interesting to see what he does... and vital.

One thing I don't understand about the "there was no money for Barmby in January" point of view is that, I'm pretty sure he said he wouldn't take on the management job here if:

A) we sold any of our players

and

B) there was no transfer funds made available from the board

In honesty I remember point A) being more of an issue at the time but I thought point B) was high on Barmby's agenda as well.

So the above are either mis-quotes, he was lied to by the board, or he just said those things and took the job anyways? I've no idea what's actually going on but the rumour mill has already started churning which is never a good sign and I can't help but feel that sinking feeling again at the moment like when the wheels came off in our prem tenure, Bullard got that bad injury and our financial situation was revealed to the world...

It won't be that bad again obviously but still...
