There was just no reason to give him the job when we did, could have carried on as interim and then when it became clear that shock, he doesn’t actually know what he’s doing at this level (which is no shade, he should be managing the U21s), we could have continued to search for and then bring in an experienced coach who the players respect and maybe even fear, and Tonda could have gone back to the U21s which is what we ****ing brought him in for. SR don’t have two brain cells to bang together though which they unfortunately like to frequently prove to us with all their absolutely ****ing **** decisions that have seen us plummet as a club under their ownership.

I want them out, but I know it isnt as easy as that.

What will happen first is that they will stop all investment (I know it is bad investment) until they find a buyer.

We badly needed a good experienced manager, and it really was beginners luck the opening games.
It won't be easy, and itll probably get worse short term, but they do need to be forced out i think. And that'll start with fan unrest.

It was an even bigger risk than the Still appointment and now we have Selles Mark II. That second half today was as bad as the Spurs first half that got Martin the sack and Tonda appears to be every bit as stubborn as he was.
We can all see it unfolding on the pitch, risky passing between the defence then a low percentage pass into central midfield for an isolated player facing his own goal. We gave up possession so often like that and eventually got punished.
We need to start winning the midfield from the off and playing our football much further up the pitch and that means starting with a back four.
Yes the players should take their share of the blame but they (new signings) haven't lined up once this season all together in their best positions and we just don't know how they could perform if they did.

If Tonda doesn't change to a back four vs Hull (I'm ignoring Doncaster), it's difficult to see him ever changing to it.

That's on the basis of course that he's still in charge come the Hull game, which is no longer certain.

I do still maintain though that we needed to sign another first team CM in the summer. Formation and tactics is obviously a big part of it, but so too is personnel.

Bloke sacked by Charlton in 17th placw in League 1? Sounds about right for where we're heading.
I would of thought an old experienced head who could mentor and use his experience would be better and get a nod from the fans rather than, " Who did you say"

Yep, you'd think so.

I expect Rasmus's spreadsheets say otherwise, however, hence being landed with this guy.

We've obviously been crap...

But they way we collapsed on the pitch after conceding one, having missed the 3 best chances up until that point just shows a lack of leadership amongst the playing staff.

I'm not sure at this point what a new manager does when our leaders in the team have been weak year after year.
