Been a lot about James Tomkins coming to us in the last few days, what does the collective think? Good signing? £4M is a reasonable figure, the lad fits the mold, young but does have Prem experience. Pardew will have worked with him at West Ham, He'd probably been in the youth side back then.

Not saying it's lazy journos but the Star got his name wrong.

Wouldn't fancy him at all based on what I've seen of him. He was the main culprit in that awful West Ham defence last year that Bestie stuck 3 past. Also ****e when I watched him for the 21's. But plenty seem to like him (Spurs amongst others linked), the 21's kept picking him and maybe a toughening year in the fizzy pop has done him good. Certainly fits the bill of the type of player I'd imagine we'd sign.
 
I'd have him, but wouldn't want us paying way over the odds for him. Doubt FSA would sell to us either, as he clearly ****ing hates us with a passion.

Took Nolan off us & made enquiries about Joey, he might do business, maybe Perch going the other way <ok>
 
If it's true he wants to leave West Ham then I'd take him, but not for 4 mil.
