When did he go to Derby - was it early last week? But weird that he's straight in and taking free kicks.

Equally weird that he went straight into their team, shows maybe all this stuff people say about "his attitude in training is obviously poor" is bollocks.

His first was a free kick that was extremely well placed, something our free kick takers have not been able to do all season. The goal and distances are the same in the PL as they are in the Championship, therefore there's more than a good possibility he could have recreated this in the PL. Players like Ings, Austin etc who were also doubted have been able to make the step up playing in their "correct" positions, so there's no reason Ince can't. McClaren appears to have managed him well in a short space of time and got the best out of him, something Bruce failed to do, imo

Hahaha what are you talking about. McClaren appears to have managed him well. What since Tuesday in order for him to score a couple of goals. He was tried and tested at the start of the campaign. Didn't work, how many chances do you give someone before you realise they just are not going to cut it. Same people were banging on about Matty Fryatt, who obviously was not a premier league player, hence his omission from an average championship team.

Found his level, however if he carries on this form we are definitely going to make a profit on him. A young, creative, lethal winger is worth millions. If he scores 7/8 goals between now and the end of the season then he probably should be valued the same as he was at Blackpool, which was around £8m-£10m wasn't it? They were the figures being thrown around when Cardiff were bidding for him, so we'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

If he carries on in this form.....brilliant. I think form is built up over a series of games not a one off match. Great post made me laugh

Wow, don't you come across as a stuck up ****.

A one-off game? It was a league game, not a ****ing friendly against Barrow Town. Also he is always in form, whether it be good or bad form. However my point was if he continues to impress as he did on his debut then he will be worth millions, there was no need to be a egotistical prick.

Did you see his interview afterwards?

He basically said, if I heard correctly, he's not a free kick taker, he doesn't practice them but SM encouraged him to have a go.

He was MotM in his first game for Forest, three weeks later he firmly glued to the bench.

I hope he continues to do well at Derby, we need to stick with 3-5-2, so wouldn't have used him anyway.

Do we really need to stick to 3-5-2? The formation that has failed us for over a year? Maybe if Bruce had of done better in the transfer window by bringing in a creative wide man and kept Ince, we could of tried something like a 4-2-3-1, but we're stuck with 3 at the back now which hasn't worked consistently for ****ing ages.

Nup, I didnt. if that's true isnt that a bit weird? He's basically saying "We have some people who take freekicks and practice them all week but forget that, despite the fact you've not tried any you can have a stab". I mean, obviously it worked but it's a bit odd.

It hasn't failed us, it's the formation that suits our available players, even when we've played well with four at the back it's been with Chester at right back and Elmo ahead of him, so it can revert to 3-5-2 when we're being attacked. If we wanted to switch to four at the back, we wouldn't just need wide men, we'd need some natural full backs, we've only got wing backs at the moment.

You don't think in the last year it's failed us? We've won league games in a year mate. It worked well in the Championship and for half of last season, but for the last year it hasn't.

Wins at QPR away, Palace home, Sunderland away and Everton home.

Draws at Man City away, Arsenal away, Liverpool away and Stoke home.

16 of our 20 points so far this season and what do all these games have in common?

What do the last 19 games of last season in which we only won 2 games all have in common?

We played **** in nearly all of them?

Last season was last season, we have a different squad now and the current squad suits a 3-5-2, as the results clearly show.

Is the squad that different? I would argue that the team on the pitch was very similar to the side we was seeing last season due to injuries.
