Not true, I'm afraid. He started against Arsenal in the cup, for example. One the wing, I recall. And was awful. He was better when moved more centrally later in the game, but still not good enough in my view -- and not enough fight or desire for a team at the wrong end of the table. If we do get relegated, and next season we're challenging for promotion, he might be more successful (if he's still with us, which I doubt).

If you want to count cup games then yeah he started two more games. WBA away where he scored, and Arsenal away where he was average and its still the only game he's started on the wing. And it was a second string side. Is that really so bad?

Compare him to Aluko, who I think is the most similar player we have in style. How many starts has Shaunie had? He's been no better than Ince. In fact I'd say apart from his sub appearance at Everton he's been **** every game this season but he keeps getting picked. He must have started more games than most of our other strikers or wingers this season.

Lots of people were bad away to Arsenal in the cup, I admit. For me, Aluko is better than Ince -- or at least has been better for us. There was another game where Aluko tore the opposition apart in the first half, but then failed to pull the trigger at the right time (can't remember which one). But he's not dissimilar in terms of lack of end product, and being knocked off the ball, and is too one-footed ... and perhaps has been favoured by Bruce. (Incidentally on the Youtube highlights for N'Doye, what was interesting that he seems to be able to score with both feet, and his head).

Both Aluko and Ince need a bit of Meyler-style fight, desire and team ethic poured into them. For me, Aluko has a bit more than Ince -- but that's just an opinion.

I'd agree that there a lot of similarities between Aluko and Ince, I think both have skill, but both are knocked off the ball too easily.

I understand those who say Aluko has had more opportunities than Ince, it's true, though I think Aluko has had too many opportunities, rather than Ince not having enough.

In comparison, some people think Bruce is ****ing awful and we should get rid as soon as and despite whether we get a good result or not they will always find something to complain about. My fear is that we get rid of him and we go on a slump in which it will take a good while to get out of. You know this is Bruce who signed Jelavic, Quinniesta, Robertson, McGregor, Huddlestone, Livermore, Boyd, Long, Elmo, all players who have had superb contributions at some point whilst he has been here.

This is because a large number of our fans are mentally weak ****wits, they're high as kites when we win and down in the dumps when we lose - they're looking for an excuse when we lose i.e. he picked the wrong system/wrong team/didn't play him/played him/played him in wrong position blah ****ing blah. We're in the PL, we're one of the minnows who isn't going to win many matches, should we stay in the PL, we'll be at the wrong end of the table for a few more seasons to come. I ****ing despair at some of our supposed support.

Amen.

A slump? What the **** do you think we've been in for the last year?

In some ways it was always going to happen. In saying that it was only against Bolton who were tired after the Liverpool fac game.

A few more like that before i get excited about the form of Tom Ince.

It's good that he's doing well at Derby. Win win for us. Either bumps up his price or he comes back raring to go. The tricky bit will be if Derby go up.

I am done with Aluko. He's a donkey. Ince has more promise and needs as many chances as Aluko has had.
