Spot on Taff…. I get the age old rivalry - my father was a die hard and couldn’t support England in the rugby ever. But growing up with no Wales in any tournament meant getting behind England and the other home nations who were there.

Gutted after the penalties - Dan did not look confident at all sadly. Will be behind England at the Euros but hopeful that the youngsters in the Wales squad can develop further and make the next World Cup and Euros proving there is life after Bale…

But growing up with no Wales in any tournament meant getting behind England and the other home nations who were there.” - exactly the same for me, although after being at Anfield in 1977, don’t think I would really want to shout for the Jocks ;)

10/10 to Dan for having the balls to step up and take the penalty, but as you say he didn’t look confident at all…..

Yes - I hope England can go all the way this time, but I’m not so sure that Southgate is the man to deliver a trophy. Hope I’m wrong <ok>

I get that, and after the Joe Jordan/jock Stein show at Ninian Park in 85, Scotland were hard to follow. I will admit to being incandescent on that particular evening, but think I may have grown up a little.

I recall “scuffling” with ze Germans in Rhodes just after Italia 90. Every bar we went into played World in Motion - cue dancing on ridiculously high bar stools and wandering off to the local nightclub - think it was called Sets in Faliraki - and reliving the semi…although the outcome was different.

I’m now 66 - don’t think I’m going to change at this stage in my life
