Callum Wilson looked good when he came on, but then all the Engish players did. Made easier when Bulgaria were so poor.

England back on form after prague accident....
That Bulgarian team didn't put the England defence under anything close to what the Checks did though. Mings looked a upgrade but he didn't have much defensive work to do.

not sure whether this is the right thread to gauge opinions: but it players can walk off due to racist chants, and FIFA can close grounds down (whether all or part), should fans accept James McClean's opinions for not wearing a poppy? If FIFA can implement bans on one specific type of discrimination, surely it should inclusive? Also, surely it must be time that FIFA imposed something on the Italian football authorities after the abuse aimed at players of colour by both fans and the actual Italian football chiefs?

Fans should accept it anyway. The abuse he gets for it is mental. Abuse him for being ****ing ****e by all means.

Extremely bored watching the sheep-lovers-Wednesday.
Football is a funny old game. Baadiff haven't managed a shot in 45 minutes (beat us 3-0), while SW is all over them (without playing any attractive football) and we beat them.
Monk and Colin is not an easy job for the fourth official!
Come on u RRRRRRRRRrrrrsssssss!!!!!

Yeovil's game at Haringey was abandoned after their goalie was abused. I mention this because my workmate travelled from Lyme to support his team. The most amiable bloke you're likely to meet. Why not come down heavily on the perpetrators than make all the innocent Yeovil fans who made the journey suffer. Think this hasn't been thought out properly

Dementia in football: Ex-players three and a half times more likely to die of condition

The inquest into the death of former West Brom striker Jeff Astle found heading heavy leather footballs repeatedly had contributed to trauma to his brain

Former professional footballers are three and a half times more likely to die of dementia than people of the same age range in the general population, according to new research.

Experts at Glasgow University have been investigating fears that heading the ball could be linked to brain injuries.

The study began after claims that former West Brom striker Jeff Astle died because of repeated head trauma.

It compared deaths of 7,676 ex-players to 23,000 from the general population.

The sample was taken from men who played professional football in Scotland between 1900 and 1976.

Who was the bird doing the draw? More than decent and appreciated the cheer when she pulled out number 69. Looked filthy.

Anyway, Maidenhead are my local team still in it and they’ll play Rotherham at home if they win a replay.
